Well, May was a good month for collecting. I found quite a few good deals on some rare Spyders, and even some that I didn't know existed. I think it is time for an update on my collection.

Here is my current collection of Spyderco knives, sharpening equipment, and gear. (Pending additions, of course. :D )

Well, if you read all of that, you deserve a medal. I just hope that people enjoy seeing some of my rarer Spydies together.

Any hints on my mising SKUs? Has anyone ever seen a Spyderco balance game before? This one says:

On the game itself:

Spyderco

Golden, Colorado USA

On the plastic packaging:

over Raise This Flap To Open SEA KING

I don't know what the "over" means, but the "SEA KING" appears to be the maker of the game.

It is a mystery for me.

Always nice to see some of the true classics like the first Terzuola collabs and the blue Böker Lum.
But: not a single model of the Calypso/Caly-Family, you don't like them?

Thanks guys! The Blackhawk was pretty hard to find. It was just labeled as "Spyderco G10 lockback," but I figured it out from the picture. Boy, was I excited to win that auction.

I haven't even held a Caly! :o I know, impossible...I just have focused on the Goldens. (I just had to pick up some of those really-rare Sekis, too.) I see a Caly 3 SB in my future.

Very nice collection, I am super impressed. I have a collection that no one would sneeze at (approaching 250), but there are so many in your pictures that I don't have! It's almost as if you started with the first model number and went from there... I am stupefied by the price on the blue Lum! A fellow forumite recently put his up on eBay for a handsome sum well in excess of what you paid (wonder if it sold...).

Thanks! You've got a pretty impressive collection, too.

I wish that I did have all of the early model numbers...an original 2-screw Worker is on my list for sure, as are the C02, C04, and the other classics.

The Blue Lum and the Poliwog ($70 and $30) were by far the best deals on Spyders that I have ever gotten. The $60 Tuffram/aluminum Police and the $40 C15 are up there too, though. :D

Enjoy the hunt, I find that it is half the fun!

Thanks! The blue Lum Chinese was a very special find. Oddly enough, I hadn't even heard of it until I saw it for sale. I googled it and saw some selling for $200+. I bought it without any further debate.

How did I manage to leave the Titanium ATR out of the picture?!?

You know, this always blows me out. Out of all the knives you showed us GoldenSpydie we only share one, the Paramilitary satin camo.

Not sure if I can post this here but there is a Renagade on SA Blade (sorry, I picked up the Blackhawk). The seller isn't shipping out of South Africa but from my dealings seems to be a very accommodating guy and might if you ask really nicely. It won't be cheap as knives there are substantially more expensive than the US and shipping will be about $45 on top of his price.

From memory there is a Viele and a few other classics still available as well.

Well, the PM2 satin camo is a great one that everybody needs! (It is in my pocket right now, in fact.)

But everybody also needs a Salt 1 and a UKPK.

Well, really, everybody needs every Spydie ever made! They're just all that awesome.
