I'm in for orange and VG-10. I love H1, but I passed on the last G10 sprint due to price, so it'd be nice to see the price down on this little guy.

I voted for white because I don't have any white knives, but most of the colors are good choices. I would like to see a PE blade in vg10 or zdp, but wouldn't be disappointed with H1 or superblue. Let's just make the darn thing so a can buy several of them. :D

VG-10 would be my first choice for steel, but I'd also buy one in the original AUS-6 or even ZDP-189. I'd probably pass on Super Blue. As for color, I voted for orange but would be happy with almost all of them.

I was thinking the same thing.

Why not glow in the dark G10, like the EDCF Manix?

Forgot to say my favorite steel for this sprint. VG10 to keep price down would be my first choice.

GID FRN "might" not be possible, and the GID materials used on the EDCF Manix were not in fact G-10.

Also, I proposed an FRN sprint, which is how we got here.

Yea really like the idea of an FRN sprint. Just think G10 doesn't offer enough benefit to cost for these little designs. I learned this when I spent a lot of time tracking down a G10 Delica, only to find that I really didn't like it any more (from a functional perspective) than my FRN versions. It surprised me because my expectations were the opposite. For LBKs, FRN all the way.

I correct my statement.... apparently companies like RTP are experimenting with a phosphorescent that can last 8 to 10 times longer than current glow powders.

Can they do glow in the dark? If so then I'll take three glow in the dark plain edge ZDP-189 Jesters.

While I certainly wouldn't get my hopes up for this particular Jester sprint to get glow in the dark FRN, my goal with having that option was to show Sal our interest in having Spyderco investigate the possibility of such a material for use in something further down the road.

Understood, but if the most popular option isn't even an option, it kind of defeats the purpose of the poll.

How so? If they can't do a particular color (whether that be glow, navy blue, orange, etc), then the second most popular one will hopefully be a color they can do. That's why I made the ability to vote for more than one.

I agree with Kyle and think that this is a good idea to show popularity of GID, even if it is currently not available. Spyderco always can choose dark green as most popular among available colors
"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf"

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

Why would they choose dark green when Navy blue is clearly in second place? ;)

I think the color should be different then what is offered in the Ladybugs. I'm pretty sure the Ladybug and Jester frn handles are interchangeable.
