2014 Forum Knife

#1

Post by Johnnie1801 »

Just looking through some old threads of the 2013 Native 5 S110V Forum knife. Will there be a 2014 forum knife and does anyone know which model it will be?

I doubt there will be a forum knife this year. The last one was discussed for over a year before if I remember correctly

You never say never. But I think that this is not likely even. Forum knife is made once every few years. Usually talks about it starts a long time before it produced. 2013 Native, supposed to be in 2012. But it worth waiting. Two last Forum knives were very special for me.

I vote for planning for a 2015 Forum Knife....if any.

Since we had the recent thread on the original "non-caged" ball bearing lock, how about a forum Dodo in S110V? :D

Yeah, probably not anytime soon, doesn't come every year.

Since forum knives are usually from the Native series, I'm willing to guess that the next will be off the N5 LWT platform.

Haven't only 2 of the forum knives been a Native model? I would love to see a forum Salsa

No way Spencer! My vote is for N5 every time! A nice dark blue S110V lightweight FRN version sounds nice. Timing should be about right for a 2015 release.

Now, if that in any way interferes with the CF S110V sprint or whatever it ends up being, then please focus on the elusive CF version!

Three of them: 2003, 2009, and 2013.

Ok - another trivia question: Have all the forum knives been made in Golden? Or have there been models from the overseas makers?

Four, if you count the Bladeforums blue Native knife as a forum knife.

Would be interesting to see which model gets chosen this year.

If we are going to start talks of a Forum knife, I think the Military should be part of the discussion.

2015 Forum knife should be a M4 Para2 with dark blue G10. :D

That would be my pick.

I agree M4 PM2 simply because there's a forum obsession with both the steel and the knife.
