Well, I posted here last Saturday that I had managed to score one of the SB Dragonflys from NK. Immediately received shipping notice that delivery was expected for Tuesday, May 6 - happy, happy, happy. Well, here I sit, still waiting, and my new knife is still 50 miles away! 484 miles from store to my house - I could have ridden my bicycle to Michigan and picked it up in less time than the USPS has taken to get it almost here.

I know how you feel. I could be more impatient than you because my post office is 3-4 miles away. I could go there at 6 or 7 in the morning and get the knife instead of letting the mail man bring it. He gets to my house normally between 11:30 and 1:00. So there I am sitting in my lawn chair at the mailbox in the hot sun or cold in winter or rain, etc. :) I might have to get a table with a big umbrella to sit out there for some shade. :D Seriously, though having to wait extra days is horrible. I know it may be a bit impatient but that's life. I've noticed a trend on packages coming to my house. If the box goes through the Pensacola, FL PO I can get it real fast. The PO in my town is fast. But, if the box gets to Mobile AL first there's no telling where it will go. Once they shipped my box that came from Japan BACK TO JAPAN! Hope you get yours soon. Maybe they should go back to using horses. :D

USPS tracking now shows it "Out for Delivery." Hmmm, suddenly not feeling well, think I'm going to have to go home early today ;) . Then again, the way this delivery has gone, I won't be at all surprised to find my SB Dragonfly has landed at S.O.D.'s house (Some Other Dude).

I hope you do get your SB Dragonfly today. Unfortunately the one I ordered was delivered to S.O.D.'s house this past Monday and Canada Post is currently trying to locate it... I have my finger's crossed...

Aw man, that really stinks! Good news bad news on mine. Good news - arrived today! Bad news - intercepted by the wife and claimed as my Father's Day present and is holding it back until June 15th. In the words of Carole King, "anticipation is keeping me waiting."

Well that just means you'll have to get yourself another knife while you wait... :D

i got an order in with NK too right before it was announced here. i wake up to an email that it had been cancelled bc they dont ship to nyc following the SFO policy. i responded immediately not to cancel and ship to my in-laws but too late, sold out, s.o.l. Said he'll try to save one on next batch but who knows when that'll be. I was so bummed i almost went straight to ebay but not quite ready to pay a premium yet

Gave up. Found one on KnifeOutlet for a very good price. Emailed KW to cancel preorder. Just too antsy!

I see that knifecenter now has the D'fly SB listed as "discontinued". Did anyone get a D'fly from them? I have one or two Manbugs pre-ordered with them. I had a D'fly pre-ordered but then got one elsewhere. I'm wondering if I can trust the pre-order on KC.

So I cancelled my preorder w KW after scoring on KnifeOutlet. Just got off phone w them. Very nice and friendly but informed me these sold out and he won't be getting more in. I am officially SOL!!! Hope these still trickle in. eBay prices tell me that 1200 haven't made it to the wild yet
