This was the original suggestion but Spyderco had other ideas and, as far as I'm concerned, this model is a much better offering than FRCP + S30V. Of course that is just my opinion, but initially I felt the same.

I agree with you guys. Aside from appearance, I can't really tell any difference between the FRCP on the CTS-BD1 & the FRN on the S110V. The feel & texture is very similar between the two.
