Spyderco Singles Club?

#1

Post by CaliMarine »

I'd love to meet a girl who loves knives(and particularly Spydercos) as much as I do. How can us nice guys meet some nice knife girls?

Just consider yourself lucky if you find a mate who tolerates your obsession and only occasionally rolls their eyes when you're freaking out over your latest spydie blade.

Yeah, my wife puts up with there being more kitchen knives in the drawer than is strictly necessary. That's a pretty good deal IMHO, I'm not going to get greedy.

This won't really help but if you find a girl who is into guns chances are she'll either be into knives or be easy to get into knives.

Go core some apples at a public coffee shop with a Military. The girls who don't run away screaming are the ones you want to pursue... :)

My wife is of the "At least he isn't out fooling around" camp. Any hobbies that don't dirty up the house or keep me away from the house for extended periods are OK with her.

Oh, yeah. She rolls her eyes too... Other than that, she's a PEACH!

That's a toughie. I suppose you'll have to do it the hard way: Find a lovely young lady, take her out on several special dates, and then show her your Spyderco collection (and how much it's cost you :eek :) . :D If she's not weirded out by that, then you've got a keeper.

I'm very fortunate that my wife not only allows me to purchase knives, but she also buys the knives for me! ;) To date, my wife has given me many nice Spydies, some of which include the Phoenix, LionSpy, Bi-Fold, Kukuri, Techno, Micro Dyad Black Pearl, et al. She's definitely a keeper!

My wife is an 'eye-roller' too when it comes to my little obsessions but I caught her arranging her own little collection into a neat little line on her desk the other day!

I bet she sits alone, opening and closing her ladybug when I'm not looking too! :D
