I have several, and have bought many more as gifts. I also use a similar product made by Princeton Tec. A really "cool" item for LE is the handcuff key with built-in light of this type, sold by Streamlight, which is very handy for the night shift.

I carry a red one on my key chain and it proves to be very valuable.

I have 3(white, green, and turquoise), all are Photon II's. I bought the turquoise, because it was the brightest. I bought the green, because it has a 7 day run time. Then I bought the white, with narrow beam, because I liked true color better. Now I want a white Photon III. I also carry a white ARC led light, because it takes a AAA battery.

I have blue photon II on my work keys next to my micarta jester. Both have come in handy more than a few times. I find myself carrying my work keys even when I'm not at work.

Al, I'm curious do you have any pictures of the neck rig you mentioned? How is it set uP?

Thanks,

Al, I have also a ballchain neck rig with a lime green Jester and a Photon 2.
However, on my keychain I have an ARC AAA.

Here's my Photon/Jester neck rig, lads. (Chain supplied courtesy of Jeff Smith - cheers Jeff!)

The 2nd pic shows rare coloured PE Ladybugs available from Hamonoichiba.com, makes a great addition to any Neck rig owner!.

Yellow Photon 2 on keyring.
4 screws are completely rusted but this does not seem to impact the working (I wonder whether others have the same problem ?). Very happy with it.

I had a pair of Photon IIs-white and red, but I gave the white one to my Dad since I didn't have a need for it anymore(I had bought a white Arc AAA). The red serves as my backup to the Arc. I also bought my wife a couple of Photon IIs(white and red), that she was very glad to have with her when there was a power outage at the local WallyMart.

I plan on picking up another white Photon II, as well as a turquoise in a couple of weeks.

J Smith,
How do you like your Photon III compared to the II?? Is it worth the upgrade to III?? Just wondering.
Thanks!
