Mine came today in about the same condition. Being a hair off center doesn't bother me, and I think that I'll wait to see how it breaks in before I mess with the pivot.
I'm glad to see that Cameron was able to take care of his issues so quickly.
Mine came with a centered blade, but was very tight. I just loosened the pivot slightly and is was perfect. The edges on the g10 aren't beveled at all so it's not quite as comfortable to use as my previous PM2s. Still love it though.
