For a split second there, I thought you were anticipating a new Spyderco called the Doubletap.

Chinook 4! Wasn't one I was considering until yet another eBay sale. Then I started researching. What impressed me the most was the Powerlock. I wasn't familiar with the engineering. I love the design.
I learned that the inventor works at the Seki factory that makes the knife. That appears to be at least part if not the entire reason why production of the Chinook was moved from the US to Japan.
Now that the Tatanka is discontinued, the Chinook is the only Spydie with the Powerlock. Have to check it out!
Japan production plus imported S30V equals an expensive knife. So without a sale price I never would have considered it.

Just got an email from them. They say they have an inventory shortage and I’m not getting one. They still haven’t refunded either. Have you gotten a similar email?

Well darn, me too. They offered me a refund plus $5, just email them back and let them know you want a refund.

That sucks :(

My oldest son turns 16 in August. Last night I ordered a Manix 2 G10 for his birthday. He already has a Kershaw Link and a Ka-Bar Short USMC, but this will be his first $100+ knife.

Today at Wally World, I impulse bought a Tenacious. My wife did some sort of smartphone price-matching coupon black magic, and when she was done the knife ended up costing me $1.39 :D
