A new Opus arrived yesterday to go with my Kapara I got recently. Box has HQ code which is pretty early I would have thought (others will know better than me) for a new purchase now.

Opus was discontinued a a few years ago, so the date code is right. Its still "new", its just been in its box for a few years.

Spydiewiki had me confused saying made between sep 17 -sep 19 and I was taking HQ as Aug 17 or have I got the year wrong?

No, youre right. I assumed you were thinking the knife should have been made more recently. You just got one of the first ones for whatever reason.

No, youre right. I assumed you were thinking the knife should have been made more recently. You just got one of the first ones for whatever reason.
