Got the last one from Kittery Trading Post using a 20% coupon for $114.39 shipped.
My H1 DF2 Hawkbill from DLT which arrived last week was immediately snagged by my wife for her use at the garden center. She did give me back her orange DF2 in VG10 as a consolation prize

Plain $90 frn vg10 Stretch on order, I miss my toku-v stretch and wanted the original blade shape. Absolutely going to bump all my Rex45 out of my pocket as the wet weather has arrived!

I like the original blade shape. Im afraid it's gone through. I don't like the straight spine at all. It looks like all models will be straight from now on. Another reason for me to hate the PM2.
Disappointed.

Pretty much stuck with VG10 or ZPD model for now and into the future. I wanted something cheaper vs my sprints to carry, so it worked out.

Hello ! I just received my second DF H1 Hawkbill (I lost the first one in the Woods… I know it’s a shame but it’s a fantastic mushroom knife).
But this one came with black screws and a black wire clip, also with the Sal signature. Is that a new version ?

I’ve been in a little spydie drought for a while, just enjoying what I have. New purchases are exciting but getting to know the blades I have is sure fun. Regardless, I have a UKPK salt for me and a ladybug for the ladyfriend on the way!

I'm with you, I bit the bullet and bought a ZDP Strecth 2, mainly because for what I want it for, I feel the blade shape is better thana the SS and I want the edge retention ZDP provides over VG10. I love K390, but in this case, not the Straight Spine! In truthm the VG10 would probably have done what I needed and still have been an improvent over the blade I want this as a back up for.
