Wow, bucket list knife!

I was thinking about getting a Mantra 3, since it is in production, but it just didn't create any sparks as I looked at it online. The Mantra 1 OTOH made my heart race, so I didn't hesitate when the chance to buy one presented itself.

Finally, a Chaparral in FRN, in accordance with my new year's resolution to only buy LW knives this year. Long overdue.

I finally scored an FRN Chap recently and was stoked. That's the knife I carry when I can only carry one; small but big blade.

Glad to hear. I've started to wear a small, stretchy "phone belt" under my untucked shirt. Has two small pockets either side of the phone pocket. They're too small for my beloved Caly Jr, so hoping the Chap will fit!

I pulled the trigger on one of my grail knives today- a Bradley Folder 2. This will be my first Bradley design, my first M4, and my first carbon fiber scales... very excited!

Oh wow, congratulations! Gayle's family of designs are my favorite throughout the Spyderco catalog, I'm excited for you!

What's funny is that the Bradley 2 is the only Gayle Bradley Spyderco I don't have at this point.

Edit: Forgot about the Nightstick, I haven't tried one of those either...

I have a S90V Lil Native sprint run on the way. I haven't tried the Lil Native yet but I wanted a s90v carbon fiber sprint and the native chief was a little too large for me.

I like the 35 degree, seems to me the majority of my Spydercos came with edges very close to 17 dps. The K390 Endela was 15 DPS.

Same here! I always struggled with my Sharpmaker base. The 40 degree settings leave the stones very wobbly. Eventually I began free handing with the rods and got pretty good at it, which led me to get some actual bench stones and become pretty good free handed, so maybe that was a blessing haha.

I touched up the Native Chief I was carrying today, along with my Guardian 3 from yesterday and that 35 setting hit the sweet the spot on both! I could instantly tell on both knives from the sound and feel. He did a great job on it, the rods fit snuggly in both settings.
