Which spyderco is in the mail?
Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
A couple of kitchen knives, a zdp Dfly and a Techno. Also, A very familiar looking box addressed to my wife arrived on Saturday. I hope it's not a Techno. :D

So my delica 4 Ti Damascus arrived. Really love it but the blade isn't centred and is really, really tight? Any suggestions? The blade looks really nice and the scales are also great.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
Mine is centered and everything looks great. My blade is also very, very tight. Loosening the pivot had no effect, so I put some FrogLube CLP in the pivot area and opened and closed it 20 or 30 times an it helped some. I'd like to know which lube is the absolute best for this sort of thing. I've got Nano 10 and 85, CRK grease, FrogLube paste, Militec, Tuf-Glide, Ceramic Wax Chain Lube, DuPont Teflon Dry-Film, and Break Free CLP... but I usually use very little lube and that usually FrogLube because I like to use my knives on food when handy.SuckSqueezeBangBlow wrote:So my delica 4 Ti Damascus arrived. Also, the lock on mine is very hard to depress, much more so than any other Spydie I have. I expect both conditions will improve with compulsive opening and closing, but I'd like to hear any suggestions.
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod

Congrats! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I picked one up at the seconds sale and I was unable to put it back, even though I never really wanted a Spin Nishinjin. It's a fun little knife!jmh58 wrote:Spin Sprint Run Nishijin Glass Fiber.. Kept eye-ballin this knife since it came out.. Dont know why?? But.. Sorry dude, I've had mine for several weeks now... :D I also first recommended to Casey that he try anodizing them. Here's some not so good pics, but proof's in the pudding as they say! The blue anodizing is almost a direct match to the anodized Ti fluted Millie (second pic is closer to true color).swigert wrote:Woeker Sprint comin gin today and a new para 2 also coming gin that is getting some lynch custom scales. I also have a blue ano Ti prybar of his and a sweet free shirt with his logo! I was planning to include Casey in a modder's showcase thread I've been planning to start (along with Steve Ketchen, Cuscadi, Allen Putnam and STR).
Oh, and yes, that IS a titanium PM2!! Cheers, Radioactive :)

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
Southard. But it's on its way back because I'm not paying well over $200 for less quality than I get for $35 in a Tenacious.
