CF Native 5 on the way Thursday, very happy to try the non FRN version. I’ve only heard good things.
I love the FRN version but the Fluted CF is as good in hand, if not better. And in the looks department : it's pretty stellar.

Paid my 42€ in customs and my MC mules should come soon. There's also a SPY27 N5 LW still on it's way.
The Mule in MC is nice, haven’t sharpened it yet, put it to aggressive kitchen duty.
Was never a space cadet, but with LC200N I might be more in space than a cadet.

It's gonna get the same treatment ! And the second one is gonna help carve the rough shape of it's own scales. I have some tools but have always liked to remove lots of material with a scandi knife at first. I don't own a belt sander or anything like that, only an angle grinder, dremel and stuff like that ^^
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

My Mantra and Manbug package made it to the regional USPS hub, but now is making its way back to Michigan for some reason. No reason given to me by USPS. I never even saw the package.

Dang! That’s always a little stressful. One of my recent USPS packages didn’t show any activity for a few days after the label was created, then all of the sudden, out for delivery! I hope it’s a similar case for you!

Ordered a carbon fiber chaparral today. This forum is already hurting my wallet. In December I received a manix 2 M390 and a native chief Rex45 too. My list grows every time I go on here

Sweet percolating coffee! These are good times! Curious what you will think of SPY27.

One thing I can already tell : the scales are almost undistinguishable from the ones on the S110V. I see the difference but I wonder if it's my brain playing a trick on me since I know they are two different knives :squinting-tongue

It's a good example with a nice factory edge, both grind and edge seem even (I'll know pretty fast if they aren't !). I think I'll put an edge on it and try it really fast.

I just have to remove the weird wire on the sides of the FRN. You know, like residue from the mould on old toys ^^

Spyderco #2 inbound!

After browsing the "Crazy Good Deals Part 2" thread, I found myself incapable of passing up on the teal S30V Endura 4 at National Knives. I'm fully expecting it to be a bit big (I have what we call schmedium hands) but the price, color, and steel were right. Plus I've been wanting to try one of the OG Seki models.

The fun money fund is officially tapped out for this month. You guys are a bad influence. :')
