I wish it were a Swick 5 :D Still waiting in that release.

It's closer to the Swick than Province in terms of overall size.

While I’m here, figured I’ll take a stab at guessing what Vivi has in the way.

You win :D Got sick of holding out for the micarta version to pop up for sale and gave in. Honestly the coating makes it more practical for me to EDC.

Well, the Bow River showed up back in stock at the SFO, along with the new Insistent. So I ordered one of each of those, along with an AEB-L Urban, and a Native 5 LW. My first Spyderco fixed blade and slip joint should be shipping out soon.

Yesterday I received my S30V Manix 2 in DLC coating, along with a Salt 2 Wharncliffe SE. Both are great knives, and I’ll be taking the Manix 2 to work today. It’s my first-ever experience with a ball-bearing lock.

Actually, the dealer I ordered them from, Knifeworks, double-sent my order; I got two identical boxes, each containing a Manix 2 and a Salt 2 Wharncliffe. The only difference was that the other Manix 2 had a saber hollow-ground blade in 154CM. I ordered, and prefer, the FFG S30V Manix 2. I’ll be sending the box with the extra knives back as soon as they email me the label. I called them, and they had only billed me for the one order. So technically, I could have not called them and kept the extra box, but that wouldn’t be right, and I don’t need the extra knives. I don’t like thieves, and I’m not about to become one myself. Plus, the extra knives deserve to get into the hands of owners who will use and appreciate them.

BTW, great service from Knifeworks.

As soon as you decided to keep them you would have lost some that you couldnt replace.

Agreed. I also recall a saying that Spyderco used to have in one of its ads: “Integrity is doing the right thing when nobody else is watching.” IMO, one of the great quotes to live by.
