Haha, they know how to sell em! I hope Tuesday comes quickly for you. I’m glad my Brouwer got here on Saturday, or I’d be in the same boat. Holidays are no holiday when you’re waiting on a knife :P
They do, but I'm also weak.

Thanks, I'm sure I'll find a way to cope.

I've been eyeing the Brouwer too, do you like it?

Are you weak for the knife, color, or steel? We all have our soft spots ;)
I am thoroughly enjoying the Brouwer. I haven’t put it away since getting it, and I can see it getting a more carry than most of my knives. There’s nothing I’d change on it unless I was adding a flipper tab, but I know some people really don’t like those. I even like the green G10/Ti combined, which is something I thought I’d have more of a problem with.

The knife, color, steel, and knives in general. Impulse spending and I are very well acquainted.

I will definitely be considering one then. My wallet was really hoping you had some negative things to say about the Brouwer. :p

Got a full sized Calypso coming

This might be the only Spyderco folder I've wanted to try that I've never held before. Any other folder they make I own, or have owned and decided it wasn't for me. The Calypso always eluded me. Was a big fan of the ergonomics of the jr and 3.5, but wasn't wild about their size.

Word, it is an enticing package! I like the Manix 2 a lot, but it’s always been a bit on the large side for me. I have short fingers, and not a lot of uses for large blades.
For me it’s the Para 3 that gets all my impulse spending. I’ll buy one in nearly any combination of color or steel they come out with.
Sorry to say, the Brouwer is a home run! I sense a lot of sebenza influence with the design lines, and contours. I haven’t ever held a sebenza, but when I got the Brouwer in hand I couldn’t help but think of the design. Comparing to online pictures, it seems I was correct. It’s almost as if Chris Reeves designed a Spyderco :)

...or more like a Spyderco designed sebenza, if that makes sense. An affordable one ;)
I have a used Dice on the way. Looks like a user, but I got it at a fraction of the cost of a new one.

Trying to get all the steel varieties of the Manix 2, and waiting on my BD30P and a Cru-ware Blades from Ebay. Haven't pulled the trigger on the 154/S90V blend w/CF or the Maxamet yet. I am also trying not to double up on scales/ blade colors. Just one more thing my wife does not understand.

I am sure that for a very special occasion your wife would not go out for a fancy dress party wearing a bra and panties that did not match so tell here your knives are kinda like that and she will understand.
Well I now know you don't know my wife very well :D . Thanks for the thoughts, but that just doesn't apply very well in my situation I have continued my collection somehow, and have even more than ever. Waiting to order the Most when it is released.

SPY-DK. Finally got one after having the rest of the family (UKPK, Urban, Squeak).

Still hunting for a black g10 UKPK. Maybe someday they’ll do a sprint run.

I'm Just glad that i stuck with the "cheaper" knives i was curious about.
Native 5 frn, centofante 3, dragonfly g10, santoku, presitence, ambituous and efficient, and I threw in the grasshopper and honeybee since i got the bug allready.
So it was not as expensive as it could have been.
😂
That makes a total of 40 spyders, 1 byrd, 1bali yo and a sharpmaker.
Nowhere near the collectors here, but you got to start somewhere right? ;)
