Traded for a few fixed blades, one of which being a Street Bowie. Used to carry one backpacking and bike camping four years ago but I traded that one away from my SE Pacific Salt. It'll be fun having one back.

Rex 45 military! Thanks SFO!
I collect them all, and use them all! I use the excuse, "I'm trying to find the perfect one", but in reality, they are all perfect in their own way!

Knifeworks exclusive carbon fiber/Titanium frame lock Military in s90v been looking at it for a long time just pulled the trigger. I have been reprofiling an S90V Bento Box shop exclusive someone really messed up. (Bought it used on Ebay saved $50.00 so no heartburn.)
This is a very tuff steel and I like it and am enjoying re-profiling a little at a time down to 10 degrees per side with nice wide bevels. Previous owner had bevels all over the place down to 10 degrees in some places. Tried to fix it with Wicked edge pro 3 but that tool is very limited, Picked up a hapstone V7 and loving it using the Wicked Edge 100 Grit stone to cut the material it works much better than the diamond stones from hapstone and of coarse much better then Silicone carbide stones.
Once the bevels and apex are set completely I plan to use the 120 silicone carbide to get the diamond scratches out and work my way into the micron level fro a mirrored wide bevel on this one.

SpydieChef and a 2nd Hap40 Caly 3...excited to try out the LC200N and the Caly I picked up used at a deal too good to pass on...don't really need another one and I would like to start trimming the collection but hey, there is always tomorrow!
So it goes.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
My advice once the factory sharpness wears down on the Spydiechef give it 20 licks per side on a Spyderco sharpmaker with the brown stones at 15% you will love this steel, I know I do!

Will do. I've been putting it off for a while now, but then came across your thread on the weekend, and read through it again. That was that :)

Just pulled the trigger on the all stainless Byrd Cara Cara 2. After being so satisfied with the serrated models, I owe it to myself to see how Spyderco's 8cr13mov performs in a PE platform. I've been eyeing the Resilience for quite some time, but I couldn't pass up this deal (coupon made it below $20). I will be nabbing a Resilience when the time is right.
