Which spyderco is in the mail?

Just ordered a ZDP 189 Endura. Not that I needed another Endura but because I've never tried ZDP 189. I've read mixedd reviews but I just really want to try it. Trying push some of the "boring" steels out like s30 and bring oddballs in. Like k390 and lc200n and hap40 and such.

I used to own one of those. With that steel, you truly get out of it what you put into it. Take your time, and take some extra time sharpening and I'm sure you'll be one of the ones praising its performance.

Received a book we'd all love and I've been after for a while: The Spyderco Story: The New Shape Of Sharp :D
Not really a knife, but close enough!
Sadly, I won't be going through it's pages any time soon seeing how my girlfriend figured it'd make for a nice birthday present.
I mentioned it was on it's way and she asked if she could gift it seeing how she'll know I'll like it.
(I'm not the easiest person to get a gift for which isn't a fairly expensive knife)
So as soon as it came in and I got all giddy about it being the hardcover version, she seized it and ran off into the distance...
It'll be covered within the darkness of whatever hidey-hole she found in the house for the next three months :p

Grabbed a brand new Pacific Salt Black/Black SE from the bay for a cool $60 using today's coupon! Also joined the Gearbest Native Blue Box drop a few days ago, but I don't think that has shipped yet.

About to have a few in the outgoing mail as well...lol! Out with the old and in with the new. Yes, you CAN have too many. The first step is recognizing that. Hahahaha. I think I need to grab a small spydiepack and limit it to what fits in there...and then of course the few I keep in my cars, toolboxes, desk drawers, tackleboxes, etc.

Just scored a blade hq exclusive Manix 2/DLC. Will be my first with natural G10 or M4 steel. Supposedly brand new for $156, free shipping. Been debating this and the KW exclusive. Excited to see if I like these scales or chose to dye them. Also my first knife that I own 2 different models, both in DLC. Must be something about that Manix leaf!

A second Para3 is due today! Though I've been enjoying my recent purchse of a Manix 2. I went through a few variations of models and settled on the G10 with Plain edge S30v. I sold the Black DLC, the Combo edge and the early sabre grind.. I smoothed chamfered edges of the G10 sacles a bit, feels even better now, thinking of trying to skeletonize the liners.. hmmmm....
Also Added a Manbug to my daily carry, and using it as much as I can. So far, very capable. with a small Paracord lanyard, it feels a lot more secure when cutting...
I admit, I have a fever, and the only cure is.. more Spydercos!

Just pulled the trigger on a Yojimbo 2 from BladeHQ. Something about this design just speaks to me.. not sure how well-received it will be in the office.. then again, I don't really care haha! I also ordered a Spyderco t-shirt! My birthday is next Friday, so we're calling these early b-day presents..
