Which spyderco is in the mail?

Just traded a benchmade griptillian for a pm2 with black blade. Looking forward to getting it, the grip is nice but I prefer the pm2. How well does the coating hold up on spydercos? This will be my first black spydie, I have a lionsteel that scratches fairly easily.

Very well in my opinion, but I have to add that I think the 'battle scars' on black Downloadable content (dlc) make it look like even more awesome. And it makes it really feel like 'my' knife and pocketable buddy! I used to be anal about scratches and stuff but after a year of carrying I love looking at it, it just shows how much it helped me out without giving in an inch. My blurple flew out of my hand and onto solid rock about 2m away from about a meter, or 1.5m height so had to grind down the tip a bit which lost its needle but just barely. It was actually still pointy sharp but I prefer a little more strength to the tip anyway and with some subtle thinning along top of the bevel sides it's still needle sharp but I have to slam it into something hard d to get it to stump now. I love my pm2 all the more for it :D

Jathes - Welcome! You're going to love it once you get past the break-in period. I resisted the urge to loosen the pivot and worked the knife while watching TV. It look several days - okay it took more than two weeks and I lubed it, but now it's easily closed one-handed - blade practically falls back - and is my most carried folder.

Got a satin finish Szabo Folder coming which will be a backup to my TiNi/CF version. Not sure if I'm going to sit on it or try to swap it for the black version...I'll decide when it gets here!
