Anyone heard an update on the Serge Dogtag knife? Really hoping this comes soon.

Wow those are fantastic! Are you saying he is doing a collaboration with spyderco to produce these?

They had a prototype of the Panchenko dogtag folder in the display case at the Blade Show last June. It was a cute little bugger. Very similar to the models on Serge's site - but with a Spydie-hole.

Very shmexy. I wonder how many of the processes that make his knives look so cool are applicable in a production environment at a reasonable cost though...... I bring it up only because, if you take away the garnish, you basically end up with a '90s era CRKT KISS knife, which is distinctly less cool. :(

Think of what Spyderco can do with that design, perhaps something Cricket-like with those awesome patina finishes.

I handled one at the IWA 2014 and I like it. I was concerned about the "lockup" when I saw Wouter's pics, but the detent ball is doing a very good job.
