Wow! I was looking at this knife at the local knife store and it really impressed me. Might be a sign that these pop up a couple days later :D

Man I was so sad I missed the S30V blanks. Those went for around $50.00 is O-1 that much more expensive? Or is inflation to blame?

this might just fill the hole left by missing the mt18. after looking at the g10 version just not sure i could pull off as nice a job. i know the contours are critical for comfort and extended use.

i hope this doesn't mean that the g10 handled version is being discontinued? sounds like it's to clear out the existing stock? it's my favorite woods knife by far but haven't picked up a backup due to cost just to sit inside a drawer for a just in case i lost the first one...unless it will be discontinued soon.

This in no way reflects on the status of the G-10 Bushcraft. We had numerous requests for Bushcraft Blanks so we accommodated those requests with a small batch. I'm not sure why it sounded like clearing out existing stock, but this should clear up that confusion. ;)

At 100 pieces are there even going to be numbered versions of this? Or is the 100 after that count?

thanks for the clarification! it seems like the things i really like got discontinued lately (namely my kifaru ku3700 and zxr backpacks recently) and i figured the bushcraftuk might be next. i'm extremely picky when it comes to gear so finding replacements isn't that easy if something bad were to happen to the ones i have :o

The Bushcraft blanks have been released before, so this is just an additional run of the previous blanks. Since it isn't a new SKU or anything, it wouldn't be numbered as part of the collector's club.

Huh? Are you thinking of the Woodcraft Mule in S30V? That was a whole different deal.
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

Several web pages show 58-59 HRC, but I don't know how accurate that is.
