Hard to choose, but I guess I'd say:
Stretch 2 in VG-10
Native lightweight
Centofante 3
as these are my most carried.

Since I carry mine in pairs, here's my current top lineup:

1. Domino/Pingo
2. Caly 3.5/G10 Manbug
3. PM2/Dragonfly (both forest green ;) )

Special mention to my new weekend EDC pair: Cruwear Military and Techno :)

Bolstered Kiwi, started out life with jigged bone scales, had those replaced with Sambar Stag that I selected myself at a knife show and had installed by Santa Fe Stoneworks. A few years later I had the bolsters engraved by David Clevinger:

Really like the design of the Balance.
Had the luck to be able to buy mine of a guy for 20 euro's.
Great condition in Carbon Fiber, just no box :(

But for the price, can't complain :o

I thought about asking this question a couple of weeks ago but didn't, because I couldn't answer it myself.

Tending to carry at the moment:
CPM Cruwear Military
Yojimbo2
G-10 Dragonfly

Two weeks ago:
Manix2-XL
Manix2 black blade
Caly 3 Super Blue

Value highly, but seldom using at the moment:
Green Forum Native5 S110V
Brown Native CTS-XHP
Green Paramilitary2 CTS-204P
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.

The C-44 Dyad: Still #1 after all these years.

#53

Post by JD Spydo »

My top 3 Spyderco folders change ratings from time to time over the years. I still currently have my all time #1 favorite Spyderco folder being the C-44 big Dyad model>> #2 would be the C-60 Ayoob model sprint version with the G-10 handle and my # 3 is the XHP Military model.

My favorite 3 specialty Spyder folders are the G-10 Harpy, The H-1 Spyderhawk and the H-1 Catcherman.

But all of those are subject to change because my EDCs ( every day carry models) do change every few months or so.

Once they come out with models I actually like better than the ones I have now I will immediately go to a newer/better model. However I still tend to like the older Spyders better than I do the newer ones with many of the fixed blades being exceptions.

The C-44 full sized Dyad is still my all time favorite Spyderco folder by far and I'm doubtful if they come up with a two bladed folder to unseat it anytime soon.

Top 3 is harder than Top 10. But I'll try:

1) Spyderco Endura

2) Centofante 3

3) Dragonfly
