Suggestions for next purchase
Suggestions for next purchase
Hi guys,
I'm looking for some suggestions for my next Spyderco purchase.
(Budget being around $100 to $150 max)
My current Spydies are:
Paramilitary 2
Sage 1
Delica4 FRN
Cat G-10
Dragonfly2 FRN
Chicago G-10
Manbug FRN
Thanks in advance! :)
EDIT: It's probably useful to mention that I'd prefer a smaller knife I can EDC..I don't really come across any heavy cutting tasks in my day-to-day life

My favorite so far is definitely the Sage 1

I agree a little insight on preference and use could narrow it down a little more, but based on what you have mentioned.
- Needs something from the SALT line (assuming the dragonfly is not H1): Salt Saver or Salt Lightweight SE edge
- Kiwi 4 that is coming out soon: Also along that line is the Air
- Worker Sprint run for this year
- Stretch is Great knife - but you do have the Delica and Para2

Looks like you posted as I was responding at the same time. So I am going to change my order now.

For my .02, I would say Caly CF, such a nice knife gentleman's knife. Stylish, great slicer, great ergos, thin in your pocket, wire clip, not too big or too small, great steel. I think if you like the Sage you would also like this knife. Native 5 is also great but it is a more robust knife, still I would consider it.

If the sage1 is your fav the chaparral1 is a scaled down version of the sage1. It may be too similar if you are trying to add variety but it may also be the perfect companion to the sage. Native and caly3 cf are two other good choices for knives at 3 inches. They are all at different price points but in your budget.

CF Caly3,Dragonfly Salt serrated, CF Chaparral1, Techno and Native 5 - in order of my recommendation.
