My all black paramilitary 2 arrived in the mail
No worries of it being a fake as it was purchased from reputable dealer :D
(Altho I did check it carefully anyway!)

very excited
Seems like an awesome camping knife
Looking forward to the summer

Congrats on your purchase. They work great as an EDC.

The Spyderco paramilitary 2 is often hard to find, but it makes a great EDC. I lucked out a few months ago and purchased one in stock from a reputable distributor after a few minutes search on Google.

Congratulations on your new knife!

Congrats! They do make a great EDC!

I scored one in mid December by catching a FB post by my favorite dealer announcing a new shipment. Patience is indeed a virtue.

Congrats on the Para 2, welcome to the club.

It is a great knife and I hope you don't wait until Summer to give it a workout. The relatively light weight makes it an excellent EDC knife.

Hi, I recently joined the worlds of knives I guess you could say, and I'm planning to get a para 2 sooner or later and wondering how you even tell if it's fake?

Order it from a reputable dealer like bladehq, howes, knifeworks, knifecenter, ect...and you should be good to go. Avoid ebay and maybe/possibly amazon if you can just to be safe.

Me too! Me too! I have been complaining forever about the unavailability of good, affordable, usable, plain versions of Golden made Spydercos. I went on KW to pick up an extra UKPK and what should I find but the plain jane black g10 satin bladed PM2 for just over a bill. Not as good a deal as the D2 PM1 I got on clearance for $90 but compared to the prices asked for the unobtainium steel purdy colored models it's a steal!

I've had my first for about a week, it is horrible. Just kidding :p this is :spyder: after all! This knife has blown my mind!
Two historical figures, outlaws and desperadoes if that, the villainous pair of really nice boys who just happened to be on the wrong side of the law.

:spyder: Current EDC: Paramilitary 2 :spyder:
