future best sellers?

Postby spyder moist » Sun Dec 29, 2013 11:56 am

what spyderco model(s) (not including sprint runs ), do you think could become a bestseller?

this could be a current model or fantasy! :D

I would say a....

para-military 2 PE, k390 satin blade ,coyote brown G10 handles. :spyder:

I think the serrata is going to do very well.

As far as a fantasy model is concerned, I would be beside myself to see a bushcraft model with a 12c27, vg10 or laminated stainless blade with a slightly higher grind than the current 01 model. The handle profile on the current model is superb, but a little more texture would be perfect. I spend a lot of time fly fishing and hiking here in Colorado, and a scandi blade profile is the most utilitarian for me.

My current :spyder: list: paramilitary 2, native 4, urban ukpk, Zulu, 79mm orange rescue, Moran drop point

PM-2, K390 satin finish and grey G10 / Carbon fiber handles :) I would buy one.

I would anticipate the Black blade Southard, Clipitools, and the SPY-DK all selling well this year.

I'd bet money that any K390 sprint will sell out in hours.

I obviously haven't seen any sales figures, but I'd bet the Domino is flying out the door.

The delica. ;)

Seriously, my hope would be that the new salt knife they are designing will be so mind bogglingly amazing that it will become a "must own"! :D

Agree on this one - I think the Domino has all the attributes of a winner, not too big not too small, very comfortable knife, great lock, blade shape, quick and fun to deploy I would think this one will be a big hit.

The new Kiwi 4 w/pocket clip.
Don't mess with the Spyder because you think you're fly.
Transcend the illusion.

I'd say that this will be a future best seller, well in the UK and any other place where the law states that you cannot EDC a locking knife.

Me, too. I just bought two NIB Dominos this morning, to start the New Year off right.

New Sage3 CF because so many people didn't take to the blue G10(Not Me!), and the new Firefly because so many people are into orange and CF scales! :spyder:

I believe the Delica with a Cru-ware blade in FRN would set new sales records.
