Merry Christmas! Spyderco gifts?

#1

Post by Liquid Cobra »

Hey everyone, the wife was pretty good to me this year :)

Although I technically got the military a week ago, it was actually a christmas gift. As if that wasn't awesome enough, she surprised me with a Karahawk this morning.

I hope you all are having a very merry Christmas! I sure am.

Almost forgot to include my new diamond rods for the Sharpmaker.

Hey guys,
Merry Christmas to all!
My wife ordered a Yo2 from Howe's as my present.
When she ordered the site said one in stock, and she even got a order confirmation email, so she thought all was well.
The next day she noticed there was no activity reflecting the purchase from our bank.
She called and left a message, but before she hung up, Jim picked up the phone.
He told her that he hadn't planned on coming in,( Christmas Eve), but had to take care of something at the shop.
The Yo 2 was actually out of stock, so she asked if he happened to have a Techno.
He said he had access to one, and gave her a great deal on the knife for the inconvenience.
I'm not sure when it will arrive, but I'm super stoked!
A big hats off to Jim for his personal customer service!
And I'm super blessed to have such a wonderful wife that supports my addiction.
Again, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!
Later,
Don

Wife got her her purple ladybug first thing. Handy for all the tape on the boxes. Low and behold for the man that has everything my wife got me a Baliyo by spyderco. Pretty neat pen was always fascinated by butterfly knives as a kid. Plus the pen aspect makes it socially acceptable to whip it out and play with it anywhere.

This year was pretty tight for us, so no Spydercos under the tree for me. I'm tempted to sell off a few things and pick up one of those XHP Natives though.

Santa gave me my two Spyderco wishes. A Endura black blade and a red, white and blue baliyo. i am pretty impressed with the endura, but their were some slight imperfections near the tip on the edge. Just touched it up on my Sharpmaker and i LOVE it.The baliyo i love as well. its so fun to flip around and its surprisingly well made. i opted for the USA made one instead of the china ones. I also like the color scheme better. Although i haven't gotten around to watching the DVD it came with yet. I also got a crazy awesome Pistol lighter from my dad. It's from the 1940's. pretty sick. Got some other gifts that I might share on another thread. Merry Christmas everyone, Jake

Wife and my family got me 4 knifes total. I got a Breeden rescue, Ulize, A CS mini tuff lite in orange and a Mantis vu déjà.

Thoughts on the Breeden.... If Spyderco made it thinner in the handle. Then took out the swedge for a FFG blade. This knife you be a perfect kitchen/camp folder.
Flash Batch request: Flat Iron Salt (CE w/ yellow FRN)
New knife request: Police 4 Salt!!!
