The Deacon wrote:There's a very special Stretch in my pocket today. Was planning to use the SETO damascus Santoku I got from SFO later today to carve up the turkey breast, but since it's still half frozen, I think it may be Saturday before they get acquainted.

I get frustrated every time I see a picture of your Stretch Paul. I've been thinking about my next knife in the past few days. I had decided but now I'm reconsidering. I'm going to look at the Stretch and see what I'd need to do to make one like yours. Nowhere near the F&F I'm sure but WHAT A PROJECT!!! That would be far outside my skill level but after two or three tries maybe I could get it looking pretty good. Everything is outside my skill level on the first try. The Stretch is already a great knife but the bolster/wood handle is in a different class. I don't know where to get material to make a set of bolsters out of. I think I'll check into iit.

Anyway, that's a beautiful knife.

I just prepared my whole Thanskgiving dinner with with the Military Cruewear.Tons of chopping and slicing.I went at it for about three hours. The organic purple sweat potatoes were pretty fibrous.I think this steel would shine in a kitchen knife.

I used a K05 red handle with a neck sheath by Scott for prep before the cooking began. I had my usual EDC system with me as well.

Lionspy and an Olamic Suna. Both fantastic.
So many spydies, not enough pockets.
