What was your first pocket Knife?
I am not sure what my first knife was. It was either a Victorinox Super Tinker or a smaller Spyderco with a Spyder-Edge. I was really young. Maybe a ladybug? I do remember that it was a Japanese made knife. One of these was my first more "serious" knife as I am sure I had a few of those POS's from fairs and what not. How about you folks? I still have the Super Tinker. I lost the spydie which is ufortunate.

Hardware store/no name swiss army style folding knife. Next one was a Buck Squire single lock blade for hunting. First fixed blade I remember was a Cold Steel Bushman when they were not made in China. Sometime around 1996 or 1997.

About 35 years ago my father, who worked at a government facility, brought home for his 3 boys a black-scaled(?), two-bladed(1 large, 1 small) no-named knife! It was built well and cut everything I wanted to cut at that age! The scales were some form of black plasticized rubber of some sort and were virtually indestructible! Back in the the day we all carried our pocket knives to school with us, along with most of our friends. The teachers also had them! What freedom we used to have!

A K/O SAK. I was 6 or 7 and just joined the Cub Scouts. It came with a small sheath knife.

Buck Minibuck. I found it on the side of a road attached to some keys. I ditched the keys (oops sorry if those were yours, if you lost a set of keys with a MiniBuck attached to them in the CA Bay Area IOU one MiniBuck) and kept the knife. Eventually the lock broke so I cannibalized the blade and kept it in my wallet as just the blade in case I ever needed a blade.
