ZDP Balance?

#1

Post by wmcilvain »

why has it never been done?

since it would not be used for anything too "heavy," i feel like the edge retention of ZDP would be a no brainer.

Ooh, CF and ZDP. I'd be in for one, but I see the price being really high.

CF Balance in VG10 was around $130, ZDP typically adds $30 plus to a knife. Maybe in SS or G10 would bring it down? That's awfully high and may not sell.

I've wanted to try a balance for a while. I believe it's Ken who keeps raving about the CF Balance which has an SS version on my mind. The steel choice hasn't held me back but it's hard to know how useful it would be without holding one. I'm still considering one and zdp wouldn't hurt. Good idea.
