Those are the two I've been on the fence on for a while. Guess I should pick them up while I still can.phillipsted wrote:Thanks, Kristi. Sigh. I thought it was only a matter of time for the Sage 3 and the Junior. Both are great knives. I'm sad to see them go... but I'm glad I've got backups for both...

If you don't count the combo-edge variations and the Embassy model, not much was discontinued this year.

Thanks Kristi.
Looks quite a bit shorter to me, as well.phaust wrote:Don't remember for sure, but it seems like a smaller list then I remember from previous years

I have been thinking about a Sage3 for awhile. I will have to get to my dealer and see if the bolt action lock is for me before its too late!jabba359 wrote:Those are the two I've been on the fence on for a while. Guess I should pick them up while I still can.

If I'm not mistaken, last years was so long because the UKPK was being phased out in favor of the new one, and since there were so many models/colors, that caused the list to be long. Wasn't here for the year before that but this is why I think this years list is so short in comparison.phaust wrote:Don't remember for sure, but it seems like a smaller list then I remember from previous years

These are the two on the list I am sad to see go also. Both have been on my list, just not at the top of it, might have to remedy that before it is to late.phillipsted wrote:Thanks, Kristi. Sigh. Current :spyder: : Para2's Brown, Blue & Orange, Etched Spin, CF Caly3 ZDP189, Gayle Bradley, UKPK Orange G10, Manix2 M4, Sage 1, Caly 3.5 in Super Blue, Urban Orange G10
If my feedback matters to anyone watching, the Junior is a great model but needed to be bigger to be a more universal seller. I understand the concept was designed for kids/smaller hands, but I don't think that alone is enough to make a good selling knife, since something like the Delica will work fine in small and large hands. Make that knife again and make it Para 2 sized and I think sales would be better.
All SE all the time since 2017

Not happy about it or anything but I totally called the Sage 3 over a week ago and was told I was wrong because they would not break up the series. Also looks like a whole bunch of CE's are getting wacked. I guess the Millie with teeth will soon be no more
