Philippine typhoon...

@ Chuck_Roxas45 hope you, your family and country are ok. Wind gusts of 175mph must be terrifying.

We're fine, thank you. My province didn't get hit badly at all. We really dodged the bullet. Some areas got really battered though. I just hope there weren't a lot of lives lost. I still don't have TV at this time.

One of the largest in recorded history with winds between 190 and 235 mph. Best wishes to the people of the Philippines as well as Vietnam and Laos, where it is headed.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

Tough storm. You know the phillipines has some world class surf this time that comes off these typhoons when they are out at sea. I have always wanted to make a trip there this time of year. It's tragic when one of them turns the wrong way though. This is a nasty one. Glad you are safe. Prayers with all those who are not.
