Spyderco spin?

#1

Post by BadFish »

For some reason I've always liked the appeal of this model but I have a major problem. I've noticed this is like the most counterfeit spyderco on the bay. What are some sure ways to garuntee it's not a fake. I know the usual don't buy from china or Hong Kong sellers. If it's too good of price to be true it is. Is there like one good tell tale sign I can look for? Thanks in advance for any help guys!

You could always get the upcoming Spin sprints with blue Nishijin glass fiber scales. That's one variant that won't be a fake.

I would wait for a sprint personally but there are some places on the web with them in stock. National Knives deals in new Spyderco's so I have to assume their spins are real as well.

We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

Rycen's post will help a lot, also the price may tell you. If it's cheap it's probably a fake.

The spin lives on my key chain and has great ergos. It's my just in case spydie. I hardly ever leave the house without my car keys.
