Nice you're probably the first.

The grey and grey looks perfect.

Even though I am not a fan of off-white or grey scales, your modified millie looks great. How easy was it to fit the Ti framelock to this regular millie blade?

Very nice lookng! Looks like a perfect fit. The Ti lock looks like it might be a little easier for a leftie to depress with the forefingertip :}

By the way, beautful pics.

To be honest, I was entirely prepared for this to not work after hearing people having mixed results. I was lucky that my two millies were a close fit, the "leftover" knife is also fully functional and safe.

I had to take a slight amount of steel off the RIL insert to allow proper engagement to the cruwear blade, but the linerlock mated to the S30V blade without modification. I tested both the locks with some hard spine whacks (and thick gloves) to make sure they were secure.

The only other "issue" I had was the lanyard tubes being different sizes, the G10 one is flared, where the Ti one is straight and pressed fit. So the G10 lanyard tube needs to be modified to fit the titanium scale, the other one fits into the g10 snug.

YMMV- don't try this at home etc, safe to say my warranties are well and truly out the window :o

Thanks for the compliments, but the true credit must go to the folks at golden, the tolerances between knives are exceptional, I didn't do much.
Also apologies for the dirt all over the knife, was in a rush to share after work, at least I washed my hands :p

Beautiful mod and a fine example of putting the best parts together for a super spydie.

I guess I got my answer. I'll most likely be trying this if I can find a Ti Millie.
Thanks for sharing your results w3tnz.
