X2. My Chaparral gets more pocket time than any of my knives. The ergos are basically perfect, and the thin blade is great for slicing. It also sits nicest in my pocket...it even blocks my hand less than my Dragonfly does when I'm reaching for stuff in my pocket. It's really so thin it's like it's not there.Holland wrote:chaparral!

Not scary and good for food prep?
Depends on WHICH food exactly I think to give a right recommendation.
But if you are looking to something:
- smaller in size
- the ability of thoroughly cleaning
- not having to bother about corrosion of internal parts
Salt 1 Plain Edge
blade length 3" (76 mm)
cutting edge 2.687" (68 mm)

Hola Madrid. Bienvenidos! If you are looking for a folder to use in food preparation, I would definitely consider the brown calypso sprint run. I don't know what you mean by "not scary". If someone really thinks I'm going to go crazy in my kitchen and start trying to kill them then I would think a meat cleaver should look a lot more scary than a 4" folder...or a rolling pin for that matter. .
P.D. Estaba en Madrid en el año pasado. Mi novia es de España. Huay puta, las navajas son muy caros alli eh?
