There exists an FRN version of the C39 Dyad called the Dyad Jr. which was available in teal. I can't recall any other models off the top of my head though.

Any particular reason, or you just like teal?Cheddarnut wrote:We need teal frn. Any model. Just sayin.
Don't think there have been any. Personally, I'm not crazy about teal. It's one of those "not really blue, not really green" borderline colors that just doesn't appeal to me. I'd prefer to see a dark "police uniform" blue or a dark green like Forest Green they used on the Jesters and Ladybugs that came with the matching Photon flashlights about nine years back.Jay_Ev wrote:There exists an FRN version of the C39 Dyad called the Dyad Jr. which was available in teal. In contrast, i prefer the borderline colors, or tertiary as they are officially labelled, like yellow green and teal (blue green), though i do enjoy the dark colors you mention also. I want to like the colors spyderco did the endurlicas in; but they are not rich enough, save the safety orange which i think was executed well. I just got a lavender LB and it got me thinking how nice it is to see a company do offbeat colors on their knives. And teal is playful and relaxing to the eye. The dyad jr was a step in the right direction, not quite there yet tho. Just dreaming out loud :)The Deacon wrote:Any particular reason, or you just like teal?

Managed to hit a teal-like color when trying to dye my grey Manbug with dark green RIT dye. That lasted about a week and then I dyed it black. For some reason, that color is just not appealing... Now dark blue, that might be something but needs to have enough difference from the standard black G10, maybe with some texturing like the forum Native?
