Wow I just noticed the thread and when I started reading the list I couldn't believe what I saw... Februari! Awesome!! Thx to everybody at Spyderco who voted for my photo! I still am amazed I was among the winners, there where a lot of very nice pictures in the contest this year.

And congrats to all the other winners!

Oh my gosh, I honestly don't know what to say! I am so honored to have been chosen for the calendar. I am so proud to be a member of these forums and to share this passion with all of you. Thank you to every one at Spyderco for choosing my image and congrats to everyone else who won! There was a lot of tough competition and I am so proud to have been chosen among all of those amazing submissions!

Edit: I have tried to submit my image but i get an error that the file size is too large. At 300x300dpi and at the required resolution I cannot make the image below the required 2mb size. Any suggestions admins??

Wow, I just got the email a bit ago..I never win anything so I'm pretty excited :D Thanks so much for the chance to win this awesome prize.

Now, I too am having the upload issue. Mine is just over 7mb.

Ok at least I'm not the only one. Its rather impossible to get the resolution required and the size required at less than 5mb.

Try a bit higher JPEG compression in the software that you're using. I got mine at 3648x2736 - sharpened - with JPEG at quality High '8' in Photoshop to a 1.6MB file. I can spot minimal differences with the original but I'll doubt that will be visible in print.
