I am defiantly not the first one to do this. In fact I was not much of a fan of the Rock Lobster due to its scales. I have done alterations many times before but never really considered it with the RL. It wasn't until seeing others altered that I realized it had small nested liners so it would make things less intensive.
That said I finally found a good deal on one and finally desired it so I could make it mine. It is not complete but it is better and more usable. I wanted to put it to use right away so maybe later I will make the custom scale treatment. This has food prep all over it besides other duties.
