Nice collections so far!

I'd have to say Dodos! It's the only model I have more than one of. I'm not sure how easy it will be to get the older production models, but I'll definitely be trying to get any other new ones that come out. Not a big fan of that auction site (at least for knives), and haven't investigated any other means to pick up the older models. I'm sure hoping there will be some more sprint runs before to long.

very nice collection. did you start going after fixed blades before your government started to force your hand by not allowing folders down under?

I have a complete collection of Paramilitaries (16 total, counting each of the separate stock numbers), and am working on a complete set of Goddards, Terzuolas, and Caly Jrs. I have no safe queens, though...

That has been part of the reason and the main reason these days.

When I started collecting Spyderco I wanted them all. I had been warned by Forum members Ozspyder and Burlgerbilly that it was unwise for a simple working man to have such a desire and that I needed to restrict myself to a category of Spyderco knives.

When I started to realize enormity of the Spyderco range, I began to under stand how right they were.

I haven’t done well in restricting myself to a category; but I choose Spyderco fixed blade knives. With most of them discontinued it was always going to be a challenge, plus being on the wrong side of the planet.

:) Still chasing some discontinued knives and with new knives In the Spyderco line up, the collection will still grow.
