I looked through this thread and didn't see this question asked: Can you ship to an address in New York State that is Upstate and not even close to New York City?

Upstate NY doesn't necessarily have many restrictions except for Rochester. Other than that it's the interpretation of law enforcement that makes any knife with intent to do harm illegal.
As far as vendors not willing to ship me a knife up here in the sticks, I refuse to do any business with them.

Sweet...a response from the big man himself...never cease to be amazed with the customer appreciation and connection from sal and the crew. Now im tempted to sell off the rest of my non-spydercos to collect even more. Thanks for the awesome knives.

Where is this located?

I'm curious if the Spyderco site will be able to handle the mad-rush of everyone trying to buy the forum knife. Hopefully it is not a recreation of the Knifeworks meltdown. LOL

Apparantly you haven't attempted to order a locking folder directly from SFO... just a suggestion, get your ducks in a row.

Just wondering if anyone knows where exactly are the forum knives located when they are posted for sale? I know they are on Spyderco shop but just wondering where it may be like under catalog, exclusives?

I would imagine they are working up a product page now, and will post a link shortly before it's available.

It should be as simple as Googling Native 5 s110v and their page should pop up that day. I find it's easier to find knives through Google than to search the catalog.

Or almost anything. Google regularly searches most sites better than their own search function. Then there are those occasional searches where you read exactly what you are looking for in the search results, but when you go to the page, the thing you were reading isn't there at all. I never understand how that happens. Probably dynamic content or some such nonsense ;)

This just came to mind as well. Unfortunately I think It's Spydercos policy to not ship to all of NYS. :( This is very disappointing since I live nowhere near the city.
Can anybody confirm the New York State shipping policy for this knife?

Kristi's initial post in this thread. Think about it, in order to make it "members only" they'd have to email each and every member a unique code. Otherwise, with the exception of those of us who have made our real names known, how would they know who was, and who wasn't. Plus, Kristi said in the earlier thread that anyone could purchase them.

I doubt it will be under exclusives, but it's worth a try. Once it "goes live" I'm sure it will appear in the list if you just enter Native in the CATALOG HOME page's SEARCH box. Or, you can try entering the full SKU# Kristi posted at the beginning of this thread - C41GPGR5 And, if all else fails, you could write down the SKU# and SFO's phone number and give them a call at the appropriate time.

Then there's Google Groups. Google couldn't find their own butt there. Embarassingly bad.

I have no idea what that is, Gordon. For all the myriad of things Google does, to me they are a search engine...
