I already posted my answer, but with this new information you need a Caly (3 or 3.5 or Jr or fullsize) in your shopping list!

If I had to be just one, I'd say ... Sage 2 and Dragonfly.

I have answered these exact questions numerous times and have said the Military.
However as of late the Yojimbo 2 has been right there. It's easy to throw out a knife
name because we know that it would probably never happen.

When we go on vacation, I do have to limit my carry to a couple knives for the trip,
although they don't all have to be carried at all times, and the legal length is always
a consideration. The Military isn't legal in all states, so it might have to stay hid for
a while. The Millie and Yo2 have always made the trip and the PM2 has replaced the
Millie if size is a factor.

Mark,
I am quite surprise why not S90V?????? I thought that this is your favorite steel or it is because of lock?
Just wondering.
"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf"

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

I'm wondering why I have such a hard time with this question. Until just a few years ago I normally only owned one pocket knife at a time and it seemed to do just fine. WHAT HAPPENED?!!!

Looks to me like you signed up here just a few years ago. Coincidence? :)

My collection of Spydercos has doubled since I've been here and that's just over a month. Can't imagine what the future will bring.

AH HA! I think you stumbled onto the culprit. IT'S THE FORUM! Rather, the people here. Just wanted to know who to thank. :)

I think the Caly 3.5 is likely to be my next Spydie, actually. Unless the forum knife makes it out soon.

It depends a lot on legality. If I didn't have to deal with laws and non knife people I'd probably opt for a s90v Military. Otherwise I'd go for s90v/20CP Para 2 or s90v/M4 Manix 2.

This! ^^^^^^^^

But if I did, overall, Native 5 (CF S110V if it were out)

But I NEED my CF Balance.

Can I have both? Please?

The only way I could get it down below three would be to cheat. I cherish the bolstered Stretch Sal gave me but, if I absolutely had to, I could substitute my A.T. Barr One Eyed Jack as a large folder. I love my sambar stag scaled Kiwi but, if I absolutely had to, I could replace it with my CRK snakewood Mnandi as a small folder. However, the most used Spyderco I own, simply because I've yet to find anything that cuts as well as in the kitchen, is my trusty K05 Utility Knife, so that's the one I'd keep if I could only keep one.

Now that's funny. Nicely worded. :)

Military in CPM S125V if I could have the moon. If not, Military in CPM S90V which I already own and use.

Although I would be completely lost for a new keys hanger without the Spyderco Cricket model.
