Quite the Quintessential Queue of Q’s.
No Questioning the Quality or Quantity.

But a Query, a Question, a Quandary.
With out Quaver, Quiver, Qualm, Quip or Quarrel.

I ask; Why is a Q a Q?

I mean; what is the Quiddity that Qualifies these to be called Q’s?
Sure: they are Quaint, Queer, and Quirky.
To a collector they are a Quarry, a Quixotic Quest.

But I begin to Quack: so to Quell this Quibble.
I had best to Quit, to Quiet, to come Quiescent.
Before I be taken for a Quidnunc and thought Querulous.
So without Quotes or Quatrains, my Quantic Question again.

Why was the Q called the Q?

Image I was bored. Ok!

I just checked my copy of the Spyderco Story and found this in the Q Section and found these bits of info

So I'm guessing it was originally going to be called the Silhouette but then they ran into trademark problems and just defaulted to Q. And then came the R. No clue why they chose those letters.
It could be that each knife previously had been given letters while in development sorta, like maybe the Worker was A, the Mariner was B, the Hunter was C, etc etc and when it got to the Q they weren't able to use the name they planned out and since Q is a cool letter by itself they just went with that. Just speculation but it sounds plausible haha

EDIT: Oops just noticed pics weren't working fixed them though!

C91SYL – Pacific Salt.

Had trouble taking these photos; the knives kept swinging in the breeze.
If you look very, very closely, you will see that still they gently swing.

Not sure on the exact rule here but I thought a non-blue fluted Ti military might count as a variation from the blue already played.
