Totally agree. There are some nice knives that otherwise won't make the thread :( It would be a shame not to have the Mili, Salsa and Aventura Forum Knives in the list. Maybe a category Forumknives? Anyone got another idea?

As far as I know, there wasn't a Salsa forum knife. But there are plenty of Salsa variants that haven't been posted yet in this thread :)

Exactly. Spydiewiki is a great resource, but not the end authority on all things Spyderco. Having contributed a few articles over there myself, I can say that it takes a ton of research through the various forums, eBay listings/pictures, The Spyderco Story, and other online resources to find the information. And even then it can be difficult to verify what one person may say as being accurate. But I try my best to do my due diligence when authoring a page and attempt to update any errors when I come across them, but it sure is a lot of work!

Now, if I could just convince Spyderco to send me one of every knife and variant so that I could make sure everything was accurate and had pictures... ;)

Mate, what a brilliant idea you have with that; and shame on me, it was not mine. Maybe Spyderco needs redundance ... call Spyderco and tell them they also can send an equivalent package to my address and both of us will update Spydiewiki :p

GSO, You as threadstarter should hear I am thankful you started this thread. This is by far the best thread opened in the last years! Hope you don't have the feeling you opended Pandoras box :D

Man, it feels good to check the own knives from time to time.

I found a long missed piece of paper, hidden under the piece of foam material inside the box ... in my eyes it makes my Ramco Laguiole unique

Man! You should have redacted that price, too! That's evidence of GTL (grand theft laguiole) right there. Congrats on that score!

GSO's :spyder: List continued

Total :spyder: = 370 at this time.

Couldn’t do this list without Spydiewiki.
The guys have done a great job there.

Thanks!
It wasn't shipped to me, I am the third owner after Sal. My seller was kind enough and gave me the paper together with the knife... and I paid a bit more than 100.- USD ... but it was worth the deal!

Thanks. Well, this thread certainly surpassed my expectations by leaps and bounds. Certainly not by means of my own. It's all about the enthusiasm and dedication of its participants, really.

Special thanks to Reject for maintaining the list and smoothing out the bumps wherever they appear. I used to be able to check this thread several times a day. I haven't been able to lately, and I'm glad he's around trying to keep things in order and making calls where needed.

Then there's a whole other category of thanks to the powerhouse players in this thread. Those who keep dishing out the challenges know who they are.

Can't say it better!

We need another category, for knives we can not show, due to anomalies in Spyderco's SKU-codes.
Please tell me more about these anomalies. How many exist? How do you propose we bring them in?

I can't tell you off-hand and who knows what the future brings :D At the moment we know from two in this thread (C55GP andC63GP). I suggest we make it easy: a separately shown column in the list, called "SKU-anomalies" ...
