Ha, thank you Warstein. I have definitely been on a Spyderco binge lately and this forum has contributed alot to that. Its been a wealth of knowledge.

I picked up the Manix about a month ago and I absolutely love it. At least for me, the ergo’s are perfect. Its the cpm s110v and the edge has held excellently. I used it hard for two weekends and barely had to hit the ceramic rods to have it back to shaving sharp. I love it!

In your pic the Manix scales look really black (and not dark blue), so I did not realize it is the S110V!

Very cool! I could handle some G10 Manixes, and though I am more than fine with S30V (I´d probably even like it over S110 V from what I read about the latter), I´d much prefer the lighter weight of all the "Non S30 V" - G 10 Manixes!

Man thats a cool pic. The shadow looks like it could be it’s own model! The “Peace-keeper” if you will. :spyder:

Thanks, I like that name! :) Every now and then I take an acceptable picture. It almost looks like a giant wharncliffe Ladybug/Manbug.

I used to feed them grasshoppers. They're cool spiders. If you touch their web or get too close they violently shake their web back and forth.

There were also alot Mississippi Kites around and they would perch on a utility pole above our chicken pin. I used to throw cicadas in the air and watch the hawks fly down and grab them. I miss living in the country :)

Today we have a Raffir Noble Chapperrel. You spell it the way you want to and I'll go my way.
This is a great little knife that cuts like a laser and doesn't scare the natives.

Hahha, definitely one of those words you have to look up a couple times before posting...but, I like your way better!

The big risk here?
The bike is precariously balanced for the shot, and there's a very slight breeze. If the bike falls toward me, no biggie. If the big tips away from me, my beloved Ladybug is liable to get tossed over the edge and into the weeds, and lost forever.

Gorgeous view AND bike! Looks like a nice afternoon!

I've been riding late in the day to avoid the heat. Didn't have any views that nice but the moon sure was pretty tonight. Nearly full and real orange.

Part of the day it was a Para 3 sporting Maxamet, the rest of the time it's been a PM 2 with S30V, and the Ladybug that lives on the key chain.

Nice shot! Those little tree frogs are so cool. We have some here that are very similar, but might be a bit lighter green in color.

From what I understand they have the ability to change their coloring from dark to light to camouflage themselves. Cool little guys indeed!
