Now that's some seriously COLD STEEL! :)

As for me Stretch2 VG-10 in the left pocket and Stretch1 VG-10 in the right pocket.

About -300° F. I dipped it into a cupful of liquid oxygen.

It was a late night at work.

Today I’ve got a Squarehead and a para3 in cru-wear. I’m liking the smooth scales better than I though I would.

I’m curious too. We have an SEM at work that uses liquid nitrogen for cooling the machine.

We have a 6000 watt CNC Laser cutting machine here at work. We use oxygen as an assist gas when cutting through thick steel (from 3/16" all the way to 1" thick mild steel). The oxygen helps burn away the steel as the machine cuts.

The laser uses oxygen gas not liquid, but we get tanks of liquid and then pull off the gas as it evaporates. And if the laser pulls enough off fast enough (such as when cutting lots of 3/4 or 1" thick steel) the seals around the liquid valve shrink enough to allow some liquid to dribble out. Just hold up a styrofoam cup and you can get a cupful in a few minutes. :) It's pale blue in liquid form and about -300° F.

We use liquid nitrogen for cutting aluminum and stainless steel, and mild steel 10ga and thinner, but we have a giant bulk tank for that and I've never played around with it.

Some full pockets today. Ready for anything! LOVING this old school Endura. Gave it a quick touch up on the Sharpmaker last night...oh my, amazing how sharp these teeth were after about 7-10 passes. They must have never been used :) This has now become my go to, back pocket knife.

Absolutely! :)

Just yesterday in fact we cut out some fixed blade knife blanks for Haw Creek Blades (local custom maker), out of some AEB-L and 80CrV2 steel:

My current cup got a bit of a crack in it when it dropped from over six feet up and landed on concrete...... so......
I'm about done with the cup part, now gotta work on the handle. Wood is Japanese Cherry from a branch I trimmed off a tree in my yard about a month ago now.
