I’ve got some PayPal cash burning a hole in my pocket. What do you think of the squarehead? And is yours black or grey?

Only a few folks ever post about them. Can you wax poetic on it?

The chisel grind, huge opening hole, liner lock, sheepsfoot blade shape and square handle is a nice change of pace for your typical small spydie

Well I went on and ordered one. I guess I’ll see what it’s all about

I enjoy my squarehead as well though it's the titanium model.

I missed some crazy deals on the ti ones. I’d had the frn model sitting in my amazon wishlist for a while, and I was adding/deleting things today and noticed the price had dropped to $48 shipped. So I nabbed it and a sweet little Wera torx bit/driver set that had dropped by 9%. I suspect they just feed your buying patterns into an algorithm and show you low prices on items to get you to pull the trigger. It worked a week ago on a 3D boar archery target, saved me $37.

No substitute for a large blade when unzipping fruit. Military CTS-204P Avacado lost that fight.

Connor, I am sentimentally attached to Bob Lum Chinese folder designs. It’s kind of a long story which I won’t bore you with. I think Bob‘s design is a fine example of minimalist yet extremely effective knife characteristics. Besides, it reminds me of Hong Kong where I spent some time as a young sailor in the Navy.

I bought the Blade HQ exclusive with clear, or natural G10, and the HAP40/SUS420 steel. This is my first experience with that steel combination so I’m looking forward to seeing how it compares with the other steels I have.

The Lum fits the hand surprisingly well, is relatively thin in the handle and the blade, and carries very well. And I just love the way it looks. I am very biased in it’s favor.
