What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Nice modern and traditional combo.

Can definitely see why you might feel ready for anything with those two.TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 8:59 amBeen carrying this Military all week. I normally rotate my knives daily, but for some reason this has found it's way into my pocket with something else every day this week. The Matriarch is just so cool and different, and being a surprise from my wife it finds a lot of pocket time lately too! I'll tell ya what, I feel ready for ANYTHING with this combo :)

The Millie would somehow not be a Millie without that huge lanyard tube, but having that (and the space and length it demands) made it not the best carry for me.
FYI, the older Millie has a small lanyard tube. Mine is the cruwear / gray scales (scales have been dyed “wine” by previous owner). I too thought the knife was enormous. But it’s actually a fantastic shape! It’s become a go-to for my days off in my home state where the length is not a problem. I don’t travel with it because I typically go through states that have intolerant knife laws. Gravity knife, >3”, etc.
Oh that is a gorgeous pair. Green is my favorite color. Forest green and burnt orange being a favorite color combo since it is the color of “outside” with pines, oaks, and red Georgia clay.

Tool selection for this coming week...
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Took my Dodo to work :D We were in the warehouse today so I could bring a bigger knife than the ladybug for a change :D Cut a lot of palate straps, zip ties, cardboard and plastic wrap. A great work knife. They should do another run of these in rex and burnt orange for the folks who missed this run. It's a solid design.
