Taking a break to hang outside with my kids, and the para3 lw is helping to fill our new recipe folder.

Oh right right I forgot about that one, didn’t realize it was M4! That’s pretty cool

Took this photo on a trip to the mountains a few weeks back. Been an ugly rainy day so went with an older picture.

Yep. Sold my C95 and DLC XL in anticipation, then missed the initial release. Decided between the Police and Pacific Salt 2 I have my single blade lock folders covered. Saw in the crazy deals thread when they stocked back up, could have ordered one, but decided against it.

Part of me wanted to try EDCing the DLC M4 version during this summer to see if it was as corrosion resistant as the S30V version.

Welcome back Vivi. You have been sorely missed. Was wondering if you've had a chance to handle the Siren or have any particular thoughts regarding it as I hold your opinions in high regard. Sure wish a serrated version was available.

It's on the list. I stopped by SMKW on that trip and wanted to handle one but I didn't see any surprisingly. I did handle a chap for my first time and I see why people like it. It's a very nice design for the size.

No secret that I love such "outdoor knife pics" :) and this is a nice one!

Hoping for more in the future, since you used to post that kind of pics rather frequently as far as I recall.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Given your hand size, the Chap could really be "your Dragonfly" ;)

I generally really like bigger folders, but do look at the Chap almost as a "different kind of tool". More like a "claw" or a natural very sharp sixth finger. Add the amazing backlock and uniquely thin blade, and you have a very useful addition or alternative to your "main" large folder.
