Interested to hear your thoughts. I liked both designs but enjoy using the Chief much more. Sold off my Shamans.

Weird seeing one with a stock clip and scales. I'm used to my dyed one with a black clip.

The Native Chief is an all-time favorite design for me...I own one Shaman, and don't plan to pick up another. The example I have is flawless, and 4V seems like the perfect steel for the model, but I don't feel a need to accumulate more.

So it goes.

I don’t plan to buy any more Shamans. I was holding out for a run in tool steel and micarta and now I have that. I am going to carry the Chief for a while to get a feel for it. So far, just from playing with it last night and breaking down some recycling, I can see it becoming a favorite.

Thanks Dan. She's a real looker, and difficult to capture the true color of the scales. That blade is awesome in use as well, I love that angle!

Day 2 with this guy. Thinking about doing a 30 day challenge, then a 30 day challenge with my Shaman to compare and contrast.
