How can anyone in any military service not know how to knot?
Ah, hahaha! :)

They do tie knots, and there in lays the problem. If they learned to tie bends and hitches they’d be in with a chance of getting them undo.

It never ceased to amaze me how many riggers tied Will Knots that will not come undone.

Today’s Wharncliffe Wednesday blade swap, ‘cause now apparently teal FRN Spydies with CPM-S30V blades are all the rage ;)

I waited too long on the teal delicas. My girls wanted them but I didn’t know they were limited run.

This is the reason I bought the Tusk. I had to take apart this horrifying knot by an Air Force honor guard co worker. I tease him for his in ability to tie knots all the time. How can anyone in any military service not know how to knot?

You win the internet for this picture. I would absolutely own a tusk if the blade and marlin spike weren't so small.

I wouldn't. This of all models needs to be solid from the inside out. The marlin spike is subject to prying from all directions. It's the absolute last model that ever deserves a lightweight version, imho.

Love that fob!

Having coffee on the water this morning
Thanks man :D what kind of bead is that on yours? Looks cool.

Thanks! I shaped it from a piece of cedar , I think, then stained it. Nothing special, just something to grab on to and will show wear with time, just like the HAP40 in the blade. :)
