Theres a used matriarch on National Knives for 70! Kinda want it... but two knives in enough for one week.
It's a pretty cool and unique knife that's for sure. One that you are very careful with while handling and opening/closing. Though the very tip of mine broke off...it's still not something I'd want to catch and snag a finger!
They look kind of breakable. The main purpose of the design is self defense. Correct? What chores do you like to use it for? Rope cutting?

Pretty solid combo for the day.

Looking good. Do you prefer the drop point or the wharncliff Bradford?

I just got this one last week so I'm giving it a bit more use this week as well. But, I'm pretty sure I do prefer my Wharnie. The blade shape works very well for my warehouse duties. Not that this drop point style isn't capable, it's been great and I'm actually about to go and get into all our UPS/Fedex deliveries right after I post this.

I unexpectedly do prefer the leather sheath that came with this one over the Kydex sheath that came with the Wharnie. This sheath, though the knife doesn't "click" into place like the Wharnie does with the Kydex, it's still very secure in the sheath. This sheath rides a lot tighter/closer with the my belt running through it, vs the G-Clip on the Kydex. No movement or wiggling in my belt, helps conceal the knife even better as well.
Does anyone here have any experience with the Benchmade 200 Puukko. It seems like a great deal. $127 bucks for a 3v blade, very secure handle and a beautiful leather sheath. It's on my wishlist.

This is what id do if the tip snapped on mine. Then I'd have a nice sharp point.

I dyed it from yellow to gray/olive green using navy blue RIT dye. It took about 20 minutes, pretty easy! I kinda wish I'd left a strip of yellow in case I drop it in the water, but it should wear away a little over time and use.
oh cool, it looks great!

Back to the Police for the last few days. The S90V Chief has got a lot going on for it, including some smooth open and closing action. The police is very stiff by comparison.

But dang 13dps K390 with that negative blade angle......

I ❤ the Police :spyder:

So if you want to reply/comment on a particular post, rather than typing a new post at the bottom, click on the " (quotation mark) that is in the top right-hand corner of the post you want to comment on.

Cheers,

Welcome to the Forum, its a great place with knowledgable folks!!

As far as your question, I couldn’t tell which “3rd” knife you asked about but hopefully someone can chime in if they know.

Interesting. Makes me think of a serrated Spyderco ARK blade

Still loving the PM3 LW with the SPY27 steel, one of my new favorites.
